Pastor King’s Bio

Pastor Kingsley James Ayesu, Pastor King as he’s affectionately called, is the Senior Pastor of Christ Covenant Chapel located in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. He is also the President of Covenant Connections Ministries – a ministry with an ultimate goal of raising people to step out of their mainstream thinking to become agents of change. For over a decade, Pastor King has delivered his trademark message of developing people to positively impact their generation through the Gospel – combining humor, unfettered passion and real-life experiences with Bible-based teachings. His messages have transformed the lives of many across the globe.

Pastor King has traveled to many global destinations in North America, Europe, Africa including his birth country, Ghana, to share the Gospel. His restorative, motivating and inspiring messages transcends denominational and cultural barriers. He teaches the Word of God with crisp and simplicity causing the Word to come to life and often challenging his audience to become what they were born to be.

He is a gifted motivational speaker and much sought-after speaker, both nationally and internationally. He truly lives by his mantra that states “we live by faith and not by sight.”

Married to Joyce for over 15 years, they are the proud parents of three lovely children: Eddie, Claudia and Princess. The Ayesu family has called Minnesota home for the past 15 years.
